Unreal Engine 5 Skin

I was inspired to make this material after reading some code for a BG3 Substance Painter shader (you can find it on Nexus Mods, it's by Volno).

The base colour splits into four channels (HMVY) representing the hemoglobin, melanin, veins, and yellowing in the skin. These can be adjusted individually in Unreal to render multiple skin tones from just one texture set. There’s a great article about the workflow for texturing characters in Baldur's Gate 3 on the Adobe website if you're interested in learning more about this approach.
